Our team of clinicians – the dentists, hygienists, and supporting registered dental nurses and admin staff are very experienced, friendly and caring. Postgraduate training is taken very seriously at Whitecross Dental Care. We have particular competence available in the fields of full mouth rehabilitation, root canal therapy, gum health and Implants, with two of our dentists being national award winners.
We use some of the best innovations in dental care as routine to gain the best possible and most comfortable outcome for you.

Scot Muir - BDS (Glw) MFGDP RSc (Eng) MSc (Warwick) Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry
Scot grew up living in Uddingston on the outskirts of Glasgow. Like many kids, outside of school he spent a lot of time playing sport and studying. Since graduating from the University of Glasgow at the age of 23 in the mid-nineties, he has spent the majority of his working time developing a career in implantology and smile design. This has involved graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons in England and completing his Masters Degree in Implantology at Warwick University.
As a bright confident smile creates a tremendous impact, Scot’s uncompromising goal is to deliver to his patients a smile that inspires those around them. “Your smile is a statement of who you are!”
Outside work, Scot balances his life spending time with his wife Yvonne and his three children Adrienne, Alicia and Amelia.

Zannar Ossi - BDS (Khar) MFDS (RCS Ed) MClinDent (Prosthodontics) University of Edinburgh
Zannar graduated from Kharkov State Medical University in the Ukraine with honours as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1998, after which he began his intensive hospital residency training in general dentistry with a special interest in prosthodontics. Following the completion of residency training, he pursued his career in a private clinic, mainly concentrating on prosthodontics, aesthetic dentistry and dental implants.
Zannar is very motivated and dedicated and has chosen to further improve and expand his knowledge in dentistry. He continued his postgraduate training at University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2007 with a Master in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics).
During the two year period of postgraduate training, Zannar developed a special interest in dental implants, and took up the subject as his PhD research, attending and presenting at various international and national conferences. Zannar also works as a lecturer at the Edinburgh Postgraduate Dental Institute. His passion for the world of modern dentistry keeps him on the move, exploring the latest techniques and equipment in favour of more advancement.

Alison M P Wray - BDS (Glas)
Alison has enjoyed a varied career in Dentistry spanning 35 years, with experience in Community Dentistry, Health Service Dentistry and most recently in Private Practice.
She believes that high quality family dentistry is the cornerstone in maintaining the oral health of Scotland, and endeavors to make this available to all of her patients.
She enjoys all aspects of city life in Edinburgh, attempting to play golf in her leisure time and takes great pleasure in her ever-increasing family.

Justin Young BDS Dund
Justin joined Whitecross in October 2010. He provides his patients with a broad range of private treatments. A caring dentist, he always discusses treatment and gives his patients a friendly and relaxed experience. He has recently studied in Geneva, gaining advanced techniques on composite veneering in the smile line. Justin uses Surgitel magnification for all operative Dentistry. Continuing development is most important to him and he is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Aesthetic restorative dentistry, so that he can provide his patients with the finest cosmetic treatment possible. Recently, Justin married his Fiancee, Jill and they live together in the North of Edinburgh. Outside of Dentistry, Justin enjoys football, watching films and listening to all sorts of music.

Stuart Campbell - CEB Dip Dent Hygiene 1997
Stuart finds himself in the top 2% of hygienists in Scotland, because the other 98% are females! He really enjoys being part of the team in Whitecross, and has a base of patients who feel like old friends.
Stuart welcomes referrals for new patients. He believes that good oral hygiene is the foundation for good oral health, and his aim is to help you achieve this.
He strives to ensure that you leave Whitecross Dental Care confident of having fresh breath, deep-cleaned teeth and the means to keep your smile in tip-top condition.
